I think the Thunder should keep Diving. Sure, we go on the PK, but so far it hasn't given up any PPG's the 4 times we have been called.

I hear there is a lot of your kind of hockey in there. Don't mind some of it though... might hurt your precious views on hockey, going old school and all.

Thunder win 4-1. We need some tweaks here and there but this team is winning. People just look at things differently. Nobody is wrong but nobody is right either.

The word "perfect" had never been used by me and if I was to use it I would be describing you, because you are the obviously the hockey guru of Wichita. I'm not flip floppin, I have said that we need some changes but if there isn't anything out there then why bother just to make YOU happy.

Let's see, we are 2ND in points and not very "tough" in your eyes. Sounds like a winning combo. Sometimes you have to give up something to gain something. If we became tougher we would probably give up more goals(we would proabbaly be in the box more) and score less(because we would be on the PK more). Would you be complaining then because we were winning less and spending more time on the PK? My guess is you would be, so in reality your glass will ALWAYS be 1/2 EMPTY because that is how you and some other p[eople will ALWAYS look at things. It's not wrong, it's just your personality.

Excatly, and if we became "tougher" we would probably be in there more for such things as cross checking, roughing, unsportsmanlike conduct, fioghting and so on. When you become "tougher" the players that are "tougher" are usually not as skilled at this level and are good for one thing and one thing only. Being "tough."

DID you ever watch Cory Dosdall play?? Greg Neisch?? Sapergia?? Bryan Wells?? Doug Lawrence?? are you kidding me?? tough gritty skilled and passionate players... and for some reason.. they got the job done in a tough manner.. guess by thinking that the "usual" tough player isn't a skilled player today... you think that all of todays skilled players are pussies?? please.. get a grip. we just have a load of guys that wont hit and clearly dont wanna take it to the body. Clearly your opinion is that what we NB's have all been pleading for exclusivly is a goon type of team.. this is far from the truth. Tough Gritty and take it to the body, meet em at the blue line tough. THATS WHAT WE WANT.

Why don't you spend the rest nof your life finding them so that then you can find out for yourself that they really aren't to many out there. We are winning, why does everyone bitch about a winning team.

we have won. and we have lost.. and if you are a happy and content fan.. knowing that Colorado is in first... and we are not and could be... well that is fine and dandy. I like to see our team win... but I really like to see our team win over truly talented and well coached teams like the Eagles. They are the CHL standard of today. Period. When we are beating that team consistently at home and on the road... I'll be content. When our players are not allowing our scoring core to get ass raped... I'll be content.... When we are playing solid defense and delivering to the body... I'll be content. Just because a team is winning does not mean it needs not or should not improve. As was stated on this board in other posts and threads... The Thunder is not improving... they have stalled out.. while many other teams in this league are still improving.

I believe we can compete with Col. on a regular basis. We handed them the worst defeat in the teams history so that has to stand for something. Are they playing better then us right now? Yes Can we beat them on any given nite? Yes. Could we beat them in a playoff series? I believe we can and will.

Could Colorado beat us any given night? Yes, and if are guys don't toughen up, they will start to beat us. One of the top ten scorers in the league has the most penalty minutes and he is on Colorado

Just because we have 3 of the top four scorers is not going to help us either. We may be the highest scoring team in the league, and we may have one of the best goal differentials(20), but we continue to get beat, especially on the road. I don't think January is going to be a good month for the Thunder without an enforcer.

El Sharpo Logico. One of the top 10 scorers in the league? Boy, that sounds like a suggestion that the rest of the scorers should pick up more PIM's. El Stupido.

Just think how much better Col. would be if Panks didn't have all thoses penalties and was on the ice more instead of acting tough and sitting in the box more often. I think everyone who watches the CHL would say that Col. would be a better team with him on the ice. Thank you for making my point.
