12/16 Tornado vs Santa Fe
Tonight was a much better game for the TT. Both teams cme out strong with a lot of back and forth hockey during the first period. The game was pretty evenly played throughout.
TT PK was tough again tonight killing off all but a 1:26 5 on 3 in the second period.
DiGirolamo was great in net. On the powerplay goal scored by SF he was screened by one of his defensemen and never really picked up the puck.
For the second night in a row Blatchford played strong in the defensive end. Needless to say Stonehouse was also a force as was Brian Reagan.
Train was working hard tonight as was Mowbry. Train was always around the net and it paid off on the Colin Long rebound goal.
Skwarczewski also rattled the glass a few times with some big hits. SF has some big boys and they are playing physical hockey. Vossberg played a pretty good game for SF and was laying the body on people all night. I am also impressed with Rafael Rodriguez. Not a big kid at 5'8" and 175 but he plays the game tough and is not afraid of contact.
