You want to talk captains. Alright, looking at the "C"s that I know of ,and I'd have to say Phelps is the bad captain of the league. He's played 25 games, but only scored 6 goals, had 9 assist, and committed 125 penalty minutes. Its been a long time since I've played hockey, but you can't lead your team very well from the penalty box.

Also I have had the pleasure, I guess you can call it that, of attending a WF game at the KYC and saw a young lady sporting a Kraemer shirt drinking a beer. I can only assume this was Kraemer's gf.

This thread gave me an idea. I'm gonna get a shirt with Mike Modano's name on it so that I can be his girlfriend! Very Happy Bunny Bait Bloos

So apparently this makes me Bob Probert's girlfriend.

My ass hurts just having to think about that.

Ok, now I have a few questions for you. What game was this? Where were you sitting? What was said?

It was Nov 12 against the Springfield Jr. Blues.
I was sitting about 3 rows up from the team.
I don't remember what was said. It was not directed toward the teams or players it was just said to the people sitting next to her.

"I don't remember what was said." Well, it worked for Reagan and Clinton...

well gotta say Kraemer's girl was in full form again last night. Sat 2 rows behind and heard the F work every other word. She had 2 small children with her...what an example she was setting! Kyle must be very proud.

Do you know for a fact that it was Kraemer's girlfriend and not just a wanna be or a puck bunny? I have seen Kyle at many games, in and out of town, lots of off ice activities and have never seen him give any one female more attention than the other. Maybe your jealous of her or want to be his girlfriend and he turned you down. Even if it is his girlfriend, so what? He has no control over the people in the stands. His actions on the ice speak for themselves. At least he is not a whiner or a diver like your Tom Train. Nice dive last night. Must not have been hurt to bad. Was in on the next shift. He only fell to ice to stop a break going the other way. It was a clean, legal hit that put him into the boards.

This whole thing cracks me up. As someone who sits next to the gal who wears a shirt with Kyle's name on it, I hear a lot of what she says. She is NOT very loud. Someone sitting 2 and 3 rows behind her must have REALLY good hearing. Also, why are you picking on her? She might say a few profanities but I can promise you every other word is NOT the "F word" as you claim. Not like it really matters, have you ever heard the coaches? Have you ever read the players mouths? I have heard foul language from many different coaches & you can tell that many of the players are saying it too. If what she says offends you so much, why don't you just say something at the game instead of posting here to GR??? Besides, most of the game, she was talking to a little girl sitting behind her! Did you notice that part too?

ooohhhh I just realized something too, I have a Troy Aikman jersey. Does the same rule apply for football as in hockey? If so, I had better call Troy now! Slow Laugh

Why don't you try watching the game for once instead bitching about everyone sitting around you, who cares if she was swearing, as long as it wasn't to you, it shouldn't matter.....I agree with native, listen to the coaches, and the players, if you can't take the language and the drinking, then don't come to a game.

I am a Tornado supporter.

I think it has been made eminently clear by the other posters on this thread that wearing a jersey with a Kramer's name on it does not make her "Kramer's girl."

I don't know anything about Kramer except that he's cute. Your attempts to besmirch his reputation by commenting on the actions of a fan wearing a customized jersey are getting REALLY old.

So, what’s the real story here? Was he not interested in YOU?

well...I AM the girl that sits directly behind the players and "sports the Kraemer shirt"
Here in Texas we call that being supportive. Just because you wear their name on your shirt doesn't mean you're "their girl" Kraemer is simply my favorite player. I dont sit there to be noticed or because I'm a "puck bunny" I sit there so I can see the game.
I didn't realize that drinking a beer at a place that serves it was against the rules or reflected on the team in anyway.I am of age and I don't drink during the games I MAYBE have one before the game if I drink at all.
I'll admit that a cuss word escapes my mouth every now and then but I do try to watch my language because we do have little children with us at most games.
Hockeychick- if you have a problem with me you need to take it up with me. Strap on a pair and approach me at a game, IN PERSON, instead of wasting everyone's time on here.

Dream on. Tampa Bay can't even beat the Ducks. There are at least 4 teams better than the Bolts in the East and TB doesn't have the hot streak goalie they had when they lucked into the Cup a few years ago.

Flames and Senators...umm...I think the Bolts took them both out last go around. The season is early, Bolts will win the division, and the conference play-offs. The cup is in Tampa until another comes and takes it.

You know hockey? If so, then you would realize that the season is a marathon, not a sprint. Win 65%+ at home and 50%+ on the road, and you will be in the play-offs. No team is going to win every game, and any team can beat another on any one night. It is the long run that counts.

Once the play-offs start, any team that makes it has a shot. Whatever happened in the regular season gets thrown out with the trash and ya start over. That is what is so great about hockey and the NHL.
