Albert Lea & Owatonna

Albert Lea will be announcing their new head coach next week.

Any truth to the rumor that Cullen who was an assistant coach for bantams last year will return to Owatonna if the new team in formation actually comes to be?

According to the Owatonna paper, a deal with coaches Cullen and Fink has been reached "In principal". Sounds pretty good that we will be watching hockey in Owatonna this fall.

Owatonna paper also mentioned something about the Fargo Jets potentially being bought by a new group in Minneapolis, and playing up there.

That is funny... but come to think of it, you did look pretty hot with that mini skirt and hooker boots....nah not my style.

Im not sure I like the idea of Pat returning, he is not well received in the local MN hockey community like he used to be. Some of the vets did not like him as much as people were led to believe. I think there are other candidates that should be considered. New non profit team still has issues with money and guarantees and as for a tax writeoff be sure to check with your cpa's like I did as it is not worth the hassle unless you can throw money away and are comfortable to do so without having your voice heard.

Hey now, let's be realistic. A commodity like "5% right" Romaniski is never going to be available. The Machine would never let him go. Geez, haven't you been listening to him? The Motor City Machine is going to be the pipeline to the CCHA. Laughing
