All-Time Toughest in the CHL

When you answer this question, try to be honest with your answer and not let your hometown player or love for someone get in the way. I say Wade Brookbank that played for the OKC Blazers was not only the toughest the CHL has seen but the smartest fighter also.Whether at home or on the road he punished the opposition with it seemed like little or no effort at all.He is doing a great job in the NHL also.Remember BE HONEST Exclamation

If you like to make this topic more interesting go top 3 fighters ever. Brookbank, Shoebottom, and in his prime Ron Awbrey

Ron Aubry was an animal in fights back when he first came to the Fire. I can not remember any time at home he lost a fight.

1. Link- this guy was nuts, and still is
2.Shoebottom by the time he got here he was a living legend
3. Craig Coxe - how many guys playing in the chl could say that they beat Bob Probert

Coxe would be my choice with honorable mentions to Sasha Lakovic(who also fought Probert) and Curtis Voth....If you get the chance ask Brookbank who is toughest CHL opponent was....

I will agree with Craig Coxe as one of the toughest, but he did not want no part of Brookbank @ the Myriad in OKC.But he is definitely one to mention.Sasha was also very tough.and a smart fighter. But as far as Curtis Voth goes he was the biggest cheap shot artist I have ever seen.

If indeed that happened it was at the very end of Coxe's career as he only played 20 games that season....If things were equal Coxe would not have hesitated to chuck em with Bloodbank....

It's been asked to him and his answer is always the same..."Trevor Converse"

Hard to pick a top 3. In no particular order, I'll go with
Sasha Lacovic
Craig Johnson (from the early days)
Link Gaetz

I'd have to say Parker too, but I didn't go to many games in the early days.

I think most of the Thunder fans would agree that Parker doesn't even rank in the top 10.

I remember the game with Brookbank/Coxe...True, Coxe wanted no part of Brookbank that night but it was probably because he was too old and too drunk. Coxe in his day versus Brookbank in his prime would have been a slaughter by Coxe. Brookbank is more technical than anything. He doesn't have heavyweight power but he usualy does real well in his scraps. He still doesn't rank top five on my list.

He doesn't even rank in my Top 10 Thunder tough guys. I thought about it last night, about who I thought were the Thunder's Top 10 tough guys... and Derek came to mind about 11th or 12th
