It'll still be a nailbiter-- whether or not you know the outcome.

Have to give props to the Stars for a game well played even though I'm a Senator fan. Oh well at least the Thrashers beat the Devils in OT. I love them Thrasher white jerseys.

If the forum wants to pitch in and buy me a Thrasher jersey for Christmas I won't stop you. either the road white or the third jersey would be cool.

Gotta hand it to the Stars. They beat the Senators on their home ice. Officiating was a joke, but didn't cost Ottawa the game. 10-3 on power plays. Turco made some good saves and Ottawa just didn't get it done.

officiating wasn't a joke! That's how they're calling it-- you take the hand off the stick or it goes parallel they are going to call it. The sens know that. The Stars were just uncharacteristically careful not to fall victim to the #1 power play in the league. for once they showed some discipline.

Stars are the third most penalized team in the league while Ottawa is fourth. You expect Ottawa to get alot of penalties, but when it is 10-3 on power plays, something isn't right. Even the Dallas announcers said alot of the calls were bad. The league needs to stop babying the goalies as well. Turco had an obvious interference that wasn't called. If they come out of the protected area, they should be fair game. When a goalie is out to the blue line, he shouldn't get extra protection or carte blanche to do what they want. I said the officiating did not cost Ottawa the game, I just said it was bad. Not only in that game, but ask Edmonton about a blown call tonight that cost them a goal.
