I am very familiar with that neck of the woods. I don't remember anybody with the last name of Hain.

sam hain is just my online name.

I'ts derived from the old pagan ritual samhain which they called the night of the dead and later evolved into what we currently know as Halloween. There also was a punk band from the 80's called samhain that was fronted by Glenn danzig who would later form the Misfits and then went on to have his biggest success as a solo artist.

So there are no Hains in the Aitkin/Lake Mille Lacs area.

Sam, You seem to know a lot about music. I have a question for you. My daughter said that there is a rock band whose drummer only has one arm. Who are they and how can he drum with only one arm?

The band is Def Leppard. I believe he lost his arm in an automobile accident. Not sure how he does it as I'm not a fan of theirs.

Def Leppard is the band Rick Allen is the name of the drummer. I play the drums and he does it like this.

he lost his left arm with is the arm he uses for fhr snare drum forthe main beat. He has a foot peddle step up with six different one that give six differen snare sounds and cymble sounds as well. Very cool set up and not that hard to play. I had a chance to sound check them on the 94 tour, great goup of guys.

Netminder, the two old guys from the muppets are named Stadler and Waldorf. Those two used to crack me up on a weekly basis.
