I have seen this coming for two years now. You can thanks the owners of the Iowa Stars, they own the T.T. of the NAHL in Frisco TX. more to come on this story..

Ummm, they have nothing to do with the Dallas Stars acquiring an AHL team so that they can move their affiliate to greater Austin. Kirby still owns Iowa, and will likely simply rename the team and affiliate with the Ducks next season.

No kidding Marc, the Ducks? They made such a big deal about moving to Portland what, a mere two years ago?

Worked out nice for the Cyclones though.
