Awful!!!!

where do I begin. The thunder could have got their ass kicked by a womens team tonight!!! The only 2 guys on the ice tonight that even gave an effort was Liebel and Lardner. Everybody on defense looked awful. I guess our new defensive strategy is to just let guys skate around us with no resistance. Dump and chase offense is not going to work anymore!!, every team in the league has it figured out that it is our only offensive strategy and knows how to defend aginst us. There is no excuse for an effort like that. Tulsa earned and deserved to win this game. Congrats to them. If we keep playing like this we might be sawaping standing positions with them soon. Also when did Bain become our unnoficial helthy Scatch??? he did not get 1 shift tonight. At the very last seconds when we have already got our ass kicked on the score board, The whole crowd of 8500 is chanting we want bain, should'nt they atleast give the guy 1 shift? I guess I could have spent my 21st birthday tonight way better.

Yes, the Canadian womens team would have done well against them tonight. The night's still not over deadbolt.

I agree… we played with no heart and no balls. We appeared to just assume that we would win. Congrats to the Oilers as they clearly came to play tonight and took it to us for most of the game. Hope their fans had a safe trip home.

We were out-coached, out-hustled, out-classed, and out-played in every aspect of a hockey game that exists.

I live in Hutch. If I had made the same effort to get to the game that the Thunder put forth in the game, I would have had to turn around at Newton on the way to the BBB and come back home.

I'm not sure what the cancer is on this team, but they better get it figure out quickly or they can start cleaning the clubs.

There are 4 players that want to be traded and French won't trade them.

Bain
Murphy
R. Couglin and
Liebel

The cancer in this team is French and that is all there is too it.

I got this from a pretty reliable source. One I trust anyway.

I bet you'll get your wish on the first 3, but not on Liebel! He wants to go and the coach said HELL NO!

Everyone was chanting WE WANT BAIN because this was probaby the last Thunder game he will ever play. Not a big fan of Bain, but we were getting our asses kicked so the least the coach could of done for the FANS of Bain was let him skate one more shift. I'm starting not to like French so much.

Like several of the players, I suspect, I have also lost alot of respect for French.

Our team played like absolute CRAP tonight! Did they get lost and think this was a road game?!?!? Come on guys, wake up!

While I also agree that Bain is no where near being a top player, every shift he has played he has put 100% into it! Maybe if you combined the effort of the rest of the team tonight you'd equal that!

Entering tonight's game, Chris had 191 PIM's. When we were sucking as bad as we were tonight, with pretty much no chance of winning, what would it have hurt to put him in, just long enough to go after Joly or Schulte, and get 9 more minutes?

*getting off soap box now*

I'm so glad the team is into charities. They're supporting a guy without asking him to do anything for it, otherthan keep a spot on the bench warm for someone else. I wonder if they can get a tax write off for it?

No. Pretty much those in charge of this organization. I'm sure with enough pressure Presson, or Joel, could "convince" Frenchy to drop Bain (because he certainly couldn't get anything out of a trade for him). But they seem to look the other way, like Frenchy did with the fans tonight. I'd like to think hypothetically that the reason he's on this team still, is they are holding a spot for someone they think is going to materialize out of thin air.

I see you still have no concept of "games in hand". But even one more win by the Blazers, to a loss by the Thunder, those games in hand really mean nothing.
