Brandon Sugden
The Columbus Blue Jackets, National Hockey League affiliate of the AHL's Syracuse Crunch, announced today the re-signing of right wing Brandon Sugden. The Crunch also announced that they have signed left wing Darcy Verot to an AHL contract.
Sugden, 28, appeared in 46 games with Syracuse last season, recording 2 goals, 4 assists and 195 penalty minutes. In 164 career AHL games with Worcester and Syracuse, Sugden has tallied 6 goals, 9 assists and 786 penalty minutes. A native of Toronto, Sugden is currently second on the Crunch’s all-time penalty minutes list with 740.
