| Quote: | | Please give me your opinion on jr hockey in general |
I think it can be a great way for younger players to hone their skills before attempting to enter their chosen hockey venue, be it NCAA, IHL, etc., as far as that benefits his hockey career in the respect of chasing his hockey dreams.
| Quote: | | the future of the nahl and what it needs to do to compete with the ushl, the ejhl which is going to continue to take players from the na and in some cases the ushl. |
This is a tough question for me to answer without enough practical research on the topic, specifically. To answer the question as I would in a relevantly applicable business situation, the answer to increasing the competitiveness of your product lies with the ability of your leadership teams to place individuals in positions in their organization where their own unique influences can cast shadows larger than that of normal men. Leaders need to find ways to succeed, and that starts with a solid marketing plan and a team of individuals at the top of the organization all leading towards the same goal.
Beyond that, it obviously is going to require that which hockey fans pay to not only SEE, but EXPERIENCE when going to a "non-NHL hockey game" and that is skill, intensity, and personality on and off the ice.
| Quote: | | What do you think about 16 year olds making the decision to go to the chl and passing up the opportunity to play college hockey |
Can 16 year olds do that without a high school diploma? I'm not aware of the academic or age restrictions for the CHL, sorry. I can say that college hockey is high-skill and high-visibility for the players on teams such as Minnesota, Colorado College, NDSU, MN State that annually contend for spots in the Frozen Four and/or NCAA Championship.
I also know that some players aren't going to be academically as capable as others to handle college life, college-level classes and the various pressures associated with being a student-athlete today.

He has his opinion - and you have yours.
Get the fuck over yourself. |
First of all, you loudmouthed prick, I didn't DEMAND an answer. I ASKED him why he felt a certain way.
Second of all, if you don't like it, you can go fuck your mother or you can just pretend you didn't read what I wrote, but either way, why don't you do us both a favor and mind your own goddamn business.
At least I had a REASON for venturing MY opinion on this thread, you hypocritical heap of trash; unlike you, who felt as if he needed to step in like some cyber-bully and dictate the nature of the thread.
I have news for you, chief. I do what I want, when I want, and where I want to do it, and this is where I'm choosing to do this. Don't like it? I couldn't possibly give two greasy shits less so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
