Bandits demolish Dallas again, 12-2

ADDISON, Texas--Chris Ross scored four goals for the second game in a row, pacing the Bandits past the Dallas Sabres, 12-2, in a Gulf Coast Hockey League game Sunday at The Rink in Addison. Ross now has 56 goals on the season, including eight hat tricks.
Jason Sangiuliano, Jacob Draeger and Joe Heinbecker all found the net twice, and Josh Kramer and Jeremy Griffis also scored.
Ross, Sangiuliano, Draeger, Kramer, Scott Swenson and Chris Burke each had three assists.
Texarkana has scored 10 or more goals 16 times in 44 games.
With their eighth straight victory, the Bandits raised their record to 42-1-1, 29-1-0 in the GCHL. Dallas fell to 4-17-1 in league play.
Starting goaltender Terry Snyder allowed one goal while improving his mark to 30-1-0.
The Bandits have acquired goalie Vinny DeAcetis from Dallas, and DeAcetis gave up one goal against his former team after coming on late in the second period.
In other developments, the dispute between the Texarkana and Dallas franchises has been resolved after the Sabres' majority owner sold his interest to another party. That dispute had forced cancellation of Friday's game and prompted a two-day ownership meeting among the three GCHL clubs.
Also, forward Derrick Kern and goaltender Bryan Howard have left the team.
The Bandits are scheduled to play the Memphis All-Stars at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southhaven, Miss.
