so you wuold have no problem with someone climbing through your daughter's window at 3am?
shows what kind of a person you are. |
From a number of the statements jc has made on here, I'm guessing that he's the one crawling through the windows of 15 year old girls. |
calling me a child molester doesn't change the fact that a gun in the home is 43X more likely to be used to kill a friend or relative than an inturder. but, your own statements do prove how dangerous guns are in the hands of a person whose dream in life is to "blow away" someone. |
You know, whenever you lie like this, it removes all credibility from all of your other posts. |
you can try to run away from your statments, but, in the end, you cannot hide from them. here is your direct quote about using a gun: "And, no, I wouldn't stop to ponder whether or not they had been invited by someone else in the house or not, or what their true intentions were."

I'm not running away from anything. Your lie is saying that I want to shoot someone, as well as continually pointing to the results of a study that has been disproven.

i put up a direct quote from you where you said specifically that you would shoot first and find out what was going on afterward. you absolutely did say that you wanted to "blow away" an intruder (and, no, i am not going back and reading every post of yours to find that quote). the fact that you say things like this without thinking what you are doing (and then try to deny that you siad it) is just one more indication that you do not have enough sense to have a gun. and the reason why a gun in the home is 43X more likely to be used to kill a friend or relative than an intruder.
the study isn't "disproven". it is "disliked". by gunuts. two entirely different things.

Congratulations... I think you may have just outdone yourself for stupidest post!
For one thing, when I was a kid, I had a key to my house so I could go right in the front door. If I changed my plans and decided to return home, my parents could expect a call explaining such. I'm sure your kids were afraid of waking the beast, but I don't think most are.
Secondly, everyone should know that you don't just go in blasting at shadows... You assess the situation and determine if force is necessary. If I catch you breaking into my house & I don't know you, there is a good chance that you're going to be shot. I'd rather shoot someone and find out that they had gotten the wrong house, than not shoot someone and have them bring harm to my family. |
oh, so now you're changing your story. now you are saying that you would "assess the situation and determine if force is necessary" before you shoot someone. let's see, i think that is exactly what i've been saying all along. find out what is going on BEFORE you use force. thanks for finally agreeing with me.
