The fact is that the girl texted him and said to come over. The dad is partially culpable whether or not you guys like it or not. Will it hold up in court? Presumably not. But there is a thing called karma, and KARMA IS A BITCH. I hope the dad realizes this. There is a chance he could have punched him once before he realized it was his daughters friend, But twice???????? No fuckin way!!!

Here's what you aren't understanding:

1. Kylie Minogue sucks.
2. I'm more of a bourbon guy myself.
3. It's not a fact that the girl sent this guy a text... That's just what he said happened. You're an idiot if you believe anything he has to say.
4. Even if the window wasn't locked, it's still considered forced entry.
5. Even if the daughter did invite the kid over, the father (homeowner) did not and, by his account, wasn't aware of his daughter doing so either. That part will be easy to check up on when the guy gets his day in court.
6. I would think that with the number of times you and your cousin have gotten your asses kicked that you would know that you can easily give a person two black eyes with one punch. I'm not saying that's what happened, only that your logic is flawed.
7. Whether or not the girl is innocent has nothing to do with the 18 year old's part in this... You don't let a bank robber off the hook, just because the getaway driver was guilty too.

Your problem is that you are taking the word of the guy who got caught breaking into someone's house over the word of the owner of the house who, I might mention, wasn't arrested for any crime.

you said you wanted to "blow away" an intruder, and, in this very thread, you said you would shoot first and then determine what's going on. sure, you eventually said that you would check things out first ("assess the situation"), but, again, this just proves that you tend to do (and say) things before you think. like i keep saying, that is the reason the 43X gun study findings were as they were, people like you who shoot first and ask questions later. and, as i've also mentioned before, the study isn't "disproved", it is merely "disliked". two whole different things.

I thought in your scenario the kid was going to spend the night at a friend's house and then changed his mind. Why would he loosen the window beforehand? All that is really irrelevant though, as you referred to him using a hammer or pry bar to "sneak" back into the house. you are the one who keeps saying all this ridiculous stuff and then denying that you said it or trying to change your story after you say it. i put up a direct quote in this thread where you said you would not stop to consider why someone was in your house before you shot them. you can run from your statements, 5, but you cannot hide from them. why not try to think before you type these things - it might save you a lot of backtracking.
