a dad is correct to try and keep his 15 y/o daughter from having sex. and, he will likely feel better after beating the 18 y/o. but, i doubt that will solve his basic problem. his daughter is either into having sex with older guys and leading the life where she has them crawling into her window, or she and this guy actually have a significant relationship. if the former, then she is pretty far down a road that he doesn't control. if the latter, maybe he should have found out what's going on before he pounded on the guy. either way, what he needs to do is focus his attention on his daughter and what he can do for her instead of simply doing what he wants to do - beating someone and thinking that will fix things. we all know that there is a never ending supply of horny teen boys who will climb thru windows, sneak in back doors, meet in parks/vacant lots, have sex in cars, etc. he won't be able to stop all of them, but he might be able to help his daughter if he would quit taking the easy way out.

the boyfirend will just fuck her at his place, in the car, in the park, at someone else's house, etc. and, if he doesn't, someone else will. and, eventually, one of her fuckbuddies will be tougher than dad and beat the crap out of him. or shoot him. or dad will actually hurt someone and end up giving them a lot of $. or get arrested.
at any rate, it is very common for people to think that if they just beat someone up that will take care of their problem. like i said, all that did was make him feel better for a while and give him a way to avoid the real problem. his own daughter.

i think all of that depends on the maturity level of the specific individuals. i've known plenty of 15 year olds (or both sexes) who are way more mature than plenty of 18 year olds i've known. it also depends on the nature of the relationship. many 18/15 relationships have worked out just fine for all concerned (my former sister-in-law has been married for 30+ years to her older husband that she started to date when she was 14).
the problem here is that many people are too lazy, egocentric and/or disinterested to actually find out the facts about something. they just get a little bit of info, make a decision based on their own emotional response to what they perceive as the situation (vs actually knowing what the situation is) and then react in a way that supports their perception and makes them feel good. like i said in my first post about this, it is the easy way out. it may make a person feel good for a while, but as likely as not won't resolve the problem.
