he had faults too, specifically his stance on players going to USHL tryouts not being allowed back on the Express. Hopefully he learned from this and can work with the USHL to bring in players that aren't getting enough PT in the USHL.

Agree with you there, and per his recent alleged comments to some players I doubt it. Not good that he is initiating contact with players on other teams in the league at this time also.[/quote]

Lets wait for the draft. Still not clear how that will work?

USHL policy misunderstood.

Cullen's policy about the USHL is misunderstood.

This is how I inderstood the policy.

If the coach guaranteed a spot a player for the next season, the rule was if he tried out for a USHL team, he would loose his guaranteed spot. He would have to tryout at the July Camp if he wanted to come back. He would take em back if there was a place left on the roster. Example, Mike Montgomery tried out for Sioux Falls two years ago and didn't make it. He had to come to the July Express camp to get his spot back.

Reason....If the coach is going to commit a roster spot to the player he expected that player to make a commitment back. Simple. Why commit to a player if that player can go and tryout whereever he wants. The team could left hanging without some key players late in the summer.

I wish the coaches good luck in building a team in the coming months.

Still think that a rostered NAHL player can try out at any USHL camp he so chooses and/or is invited to if applicable. The more exposure the better.

I agree with you wells. Any player can try out at any camp in any league they want. It is whether there is a guaranteed spot waiting for them if they don't make it.

I will defer that to the Attorneys. Think that is a legal matter since they bought all rights to the team last year from Murray.

Hello!

I just wanted to know if any of you know about Mr. Cullen's lust for the young Heart little ladies around town? That naughty man has got to learn to control his urges before they land him in the pokey!

Until later then.

It's a real Catch 22 and a big time decision for the player to make. Ideally most players would like to be in the USHL, but if they aren't playing much on their USHL team, it would be in their best interest to drop a league lower and play in the NAHL and be a 1st or 2nd line player.

For clarification purposes, nothing regarding this accusal came to fruition.

Like I have said before, time to look forward.
