Express Players

Is there any chance that we might see some players from last season make a return to the NEW Express??

Shhhhhhhhhh! COACHES CANNOT TALK TO PLAYERS UNTIL AFTER THE DRAFT.

THE PLAYERS ARE ROSTERED WITH THE OLD EXPRESS. SO UNLESS THERE ARE TRADES OR MONEY SPENT WHO KNOWS!

As was mentioned in the first meeting, there really isn't alot of players from last years team that still have eligibility remaining. Plus I think alot of the better players that do have eligibility that had good first seasons may be looking to move up to the USHL even though none were drafted in the USHL draft yesterday.

START FRESH FOR NOW OR IT WILL COST MORE MONEY THAT WE DONT HAVE TO THROW AROUND.

Nick Carson. Wonder why Alex would not let him play in the any of the playoffs?

Fink has been active on contacting the players. But I agree new team all around would be best.

Singer, Slavik traded. Others going as well.

I think both to the bobcats. There will be a lot more movement in the next week.

Has anyone heard if any of the boys form last season got picked up by and D1 or D3 schools. I think Matt L. got picked up. E-

Singer/Brodhag/Falk - trying to catch on in USHL



As much as I would love to have some of the guys back in Owatonna this fall, I think we should all prepare ourselves for 25 brand new faces.

Face it fans, this year will not be like the before's for all you nostalgic peoples. Its a very different league and we started late and Cullen is not a magician.

nobody can predict who will be on the team. Might be all new faces. The first year the team had a little more of a start and then got a few veterans from other leagues. I would guess the same thing will be tried this year. Cullen might not be a magician but he'll probably do better than "the most respect junior coach in north America" M.R. did with cullens kids from last year.

You know the guys did a great job last season. I for one am proud of them. Jr. I know its hard for you, but please try to be a shining example of our town's good people and move forward already.

Where ever the boys from the past years end up, I wish them all the BEST OF LUCK. E-

I'm moving on and hoping that the team does much better than this year. cullen set a high standard and M.R. didn't do a whole lot with the talent he had.

Yes the boys did very well last year with the situation. I am proud of them as well for having to go through last year. But, they got cheated the most in the whole debacle. I think it would be cool if some of them could come back and play for cullen. I think that is what they signed up for last year.

Cullen did set a high standard but he had faults too, specifically his stance on players going to USHL tryouts not being allowed back on the Express. Hopefully he learned from this and can work with the USHL to bring in players that aren't getting enough PT in the USHL.

Agree with you there, and per his recent alleged comments to some players I doubt it. Not good that he is initiating contact with players on other teams in the league at this time also.
