Former Thunder president to manage arena

Sedgwick County officials announced the new manager of the Intrust Bank Arena and the Kansas Coliseum today.

Chris Presson will be an employee of SMG, the private management company for the arena.

Presson, 42, is no stranger to Wichita and recently resigned from Wichita Pro Sports after serving as president of the Wichita Thunder and Wichita Wingnuts.

His duties as general manager start today.
