i just wounder if he/she (wffan) was at the game or not. I was and still did not see Kinger hit the puck twice. Cheeks sits up above the ice at the end of the ice where the goal took place. But, what one sees and then says what the saw can some timesbe two different things. So what the game ended on a call that could have gone either way. In my opion RR out played the nados the first two periods. TT out played them in the 3rd.

It was a good game no matter what happen or who won. I for one was very impressed with the play of one Lyon Messier. The kid is a solid "D" man for the word go. I watched him stand everyone up that came near the blueline or the goalie last night and all where very clean hits. This kid will go very far in this game. The next 5 games against the RR win be fun to watch. by the way does anyone else think the 6 damn game in a row with the same team is a bit much???

Six straight games is just begging for trouble. As an example, look back at how the games deteriorated during the Cat/TT series a few weeks back. Teams need some time to get over the on-ice emotion. Especially guys this age. I realize that a lot of the "stuff" carries all season, but a bunch of it also goes away with time. Like I said, six straight is begging for trouble and one can only hope nobody does something really dumb or gets hurt when emotion and testosterone push common sense and discipline under the Zamboni.

Warshaw was horrible. Not only for the Tornado but all around. The refs don't give the Tornado ANY games. The Tornado earn them through skill, determination and yes at times luck.

Interesting on how close some of the teams are halfway through the season. The top two teams in each Div. are all with in a few points, except for Bozeman they are 11 points ahead. I still say if they were in a different Div. they would not be having the year they are. Not saying they suck or anything, but looking at the points in there Div. it seems those teams are not as strong as others... 2 cents, flame away if you want,

Not really, I will speak up anyone wants to bitch about the refs. I get quit tired of hear about it to tell you the truth. Spending the last few years as the pa guy for the Wichita Thunder, I got to know the refs pretty good, most of them try there best to catch everything that takes place on the ice, fact of the matter is they only have two eye balls on the ice.

The refs are only human, they make good calls and they make bad calls, deal with it. Till the NAHL makes the instant replay part of the game, we will just have to live with the calls the refs make period.

I think bitching about the officiating goes with any sport. I understand the refs (at this level) are learning just like the players. I have seen games where the calls were terrible BUT they were terrible both ways. I dont think anyone on here thinks their teams comsists of "fair haired" boys. I think we all know their capabilities.

With that being said, I do think complaints are legitimate if the calls seem to go one way. Which does happen. Sometimes the game calls are in our favor and sometimes they are not. Every fan usually only complains when the calls are against them!

If something was as blatant as a double hit in a shoot out then I think the game tape would clearly show it and the Coach ought to raise Holy Hell with USA Hockey and have the ref's job!

An official once told me that the fans cannot see or hear everything that goes on during the game. There may be circumstances leading up to a call that the fans do not understand. i.e. The player had previously been warned etc.

I have seen calls which were CLEARLY missed or undeserved. I hate it.
I think it is just comical this year to hear the TT fans complain about the refs. Last year they trashed anyone who commented on the officiating. This year, their team doesn't appear to be "superior" and they are complaining about the officiating. Last year, everyone else just had sour grapes. They just didn't get it. It is very frustrating to see your team out there busting their asses and lose the game over a bad call resulting in a "no goal" or a PP at the worst possible time. This year it seems they are experiencing some of what the other teams realized a few years ago!

First of all, the rules state you can only have one shot on a penalty shot/shoot out. A puck is not automatically dead once the goalie touches it if the puck was not shot. What the replay showed, although it was not clear, is that Carlson went for a poke check, King's stick knocked Carlson's stick out of his hand, King shoots and scores. Carlson may have hit the puck, but it doesn't matter if King was just stickhandling and not attempting to score.

Second, many penalties are judgement calls. Most fans' judgement is that every little hook, grab or tap with a stick should be called if it happens to thier boys. Sometimes penalties are so obvious that fans have a right to bitch. Case in point, a player without a stick puts his hand on a puck, which then proceeds to go flying out of the rink. Obviously he threw it, which is a penalty. It went uncalled. Bitch, bitch, bitch.
