That might be a good hiring. His dad being a pro scout can't hurt either.

Well, here is our ticket to a couple trades....new coach, looking to shake things up...

I would shop Lardner.....he will be a vet next year and I have a feeling that Duda/Clayton/Blaznek/Tetreault will be around for a while, should get something for him while we can!

McLean will be a vet also and doesn't show the heart he had last year. Tab is trying to damn hard, but atleast he is trying.

Actually, even if McLean plays in every game this season he will finish with 245 pro games under his belt. If I'm not mistaken to be considered a vet it is 260 games. So I don't think McLean will be a vet next year, however it wouldn't bother me one bit to see him traded. He isn't the McLean of old. He used to be a very physical player, would check really hard and enjoyed dropping the gloves from time to time. I've seen him peel off of several checks this year when he could have leveled someone, that just doesn't make any sense to me. But then again, I've seen a lot of our guys pulling off of checks.

Or his good acting job when he misses a guy by two feet and then hits the glass making it sound like he checked them, he is really good at that.

Mac is also our chief diver, so it would cut down on a lot of penalties also if he was traded.

Yea, Mac has a grand total of 1 diving penality this year....he better be careful it looks like it is starting to become a trend for him

And as much as I love Liebel, wouldn't he actually be the one to be named our "chief diver"?

I am surprised Mac hasn't been called for diving more. He always throws his arms back and tries to embelish everything. Just because he has one dive penalty doesn't mean he isn't the person who dives the most.
