Good Year Stars

The Stars exit early. They had a good year though. I thought the Avs would be a difficult series. But I knew if they passed the Redwings the Oilers were going to be difficult also. I wonder if Dallas would have been better off with out the 12(?) shoutout wins giving them an extra 12 points. They would have had 100points and San Jose. Just bringing food for thought. I still liked the shootouts and would not want to see them go away.

Don't think they could beat San Jose, Edmenton and definitely not the Avs. On a side note, glad to see Mikey Mo come back and play after that clean hit by the Avs. I would hate for the heart and soul of the Stars to be injured. Mikey Mo is a good player.

Marty struggles. But I dont think you can put every goal on him. The defense seems to be out of position all the time and they fail to clear the puck alot. When the defense is scrambling it is just a matter of time. Without defensive support Roy would have had a different record. Fact is when the stars won the cup Eddie had outstanding Defense. It was defense first.

Didn't we see this picture in 2004? Avs oust the Stars in 5 games. Sad. No, Turco isn't TOTALLY to blame. This series loss was a team loss.

Time to play golf and wonder what coulda been. Already looking forward to the 2006-07 Stars season.
