Green Bay Gamblers

Could someone out there please tell Ken Wachter...CEO and president of the Green Bay Gamblers to pretty please get rid of Head Coach Mark Mazzoleni. I mean the guy has had one season where he actually was above 500 and that was the 05-06 season with a record of 30-26...
1. 06-07 season 24-30
2. 04-05 season 21-37
3. 03-04 season 27-28

I mean the guy is not getting the job done and anyone out there that has been to a game home or away and actually watched him coach the game is quite hilarious. The guy screams at his kids all game long, and as a ex player myself, kids will eventually tune that out and just will not play for you. It is obvious that he can not do the job and John Gill is obviously not getting the players that he needs to put a quality team on the ice. I would agree that there has been some fantastic talent there in the last four years but Mark needs to part ways before we all throw up on his ability to reach out to these kids and put a winning team on the ice.

Mazz should go. Actually, clean house. I think it is already in the works as I have heard rumors they have already readied a replacement. It WILL NOT happen this season, as the replacement already is coaching. It's too bad for the kids who are here, but maybe those who can and are asked to return will do better with a new staff. I hope so.

Hey, they could hire some wet behing the ears young gun and lose the way they are now. Nowhere to go but up, I say.

Remember how highly hyped he was when the Gamblers hired him. Goes to show that having a quality coach isn't the easiest thing to do.

The only reason there was so much hype was because his friend hired him and we didn't really look at all the problems he had at Harvard. Im a season ticket holder for 12 years now and the quality of play has go down ever since hes been here. We are losing fans left and right becasue of his lack of coach talent. I hear from alot of different people that maz is all about himself and doesn't care about anyone else. I also heard that most coachs when asked about playing hear, they say right out dont maz is an idiot. I wonder how long it going to take pmi to fire him or do they want to want until all the fans are gone!!!!

Another nice performance from the Gamblers last night. That just shows you that the Players hate the coach and dont what to play for him. How can you come out night after night and play like crap and some nights like last sat play a game. Cross your fingers maybe maz will resign!!

I agree with all you guys that replied. I mean I feel so bad for the kids it is unreal. I know a lot of these kids and past kids that have played for Maz and I have not heard one good thing about the man since he has been there. I just do not understand as an owner that it has taken so long as it has. I also heard the same thing that the only reason he got hired cause he was friends with the owner. Just shows that just because you have coached at some prestigious college does not neccessary make you a good coach let alone a good junior coach. The biggest thing is the kids have to respect you and like you, cause if you do not have the respect from them, it will never work. Thanks for all the replys, and glad that everyone sees the same thing as I do.

Wasn't the owner, was the ex-president, He quit because he was getting to much pressure. I think he would have been gone already but when he came here they gave him a 5 year contract worth way to much and i dont think pmi wants to buy him out yet. But if the play and the attendance keeps going down like it is, hopefully they fire his ass and get someone new what the hell a new coach cant get any worst.
