Have The Bruins given up already?

Trade away their franchise player for three decent players but to me it seems like the Sharks still got the better end of the deal.

Oh well I guess time will tell.

Don't look like the Bruins have given up yet. They are ahead of Ottawa. It is still early in the 2nd period, so Ottawa still has plenty of time. Go Senators!!!

IMHO the Bruins got the best of the deal. Three decent players without the salary of Joe T. which means money to spend on other things should the need arise. My 2 Cents

Well, it certainly didnt hurt them in their game against Ottawa, did it?
The division's last place team defeating the first place team. Was quite a night there.

As a die-hard Bruins fan, one would not expect us ta give up our best asset for almost nothin'!!! If unloadin' Joe was the answer at least get like talent in exchange!!! Yeah, Marco is steppin' up but he ain't performin' like Joe is in SJ!!! Still though one would like ta see Bruins GM FIRED!!!

Cool

I've heard a few things to the effect that this trade wasn't due to on-ice matters, but rather Joe's attitude OFF the ice.

Also, the B's increased their depth, which has been a huge problem for them this season. We'll see how this pans out for you Beantowners. Rumor has it that Glen Murray and/or Brian Leetch could be the next to go.

Joe's OFF-ICE attitude??? Where that wouldn't surprize one, his claim was to be a Bruin and signed a huge contract with that in mind!!! One would guess that it was more that he didn't get along with management!!! Of course, none of this is confirmed but one sure does wish it would be!!! Still, not a very smart move by Bruins management!!! As for depth, ya must be referrin' ta the D-Corps!!! Bruins GM has had a thing for Brad Stuart for some time but he paid too much!!!

The next ta go WILL and SHOULD BE Murray!!! His career seems ta be attached ta Joe, at least he's had his best offensive years with Joe!!! No Joe, Murray must go!!! Now Brian presents an opportunity ta acquire some talent just like Glen does!!! Will the Bruins acquire it??? Inquirin' minds wanna know!!!

Cool
