Check the scoreboard tonight C.A.? I believe Stars lost 1-0. Good game though. Looking forward to going to the Stars-Flames game on the 26th.

First time this season that Dallas has been shut out. Like Modano said, "We did everything but put it in the net."

A tap o' the stick to both netminders last nite and a tip o' the hat to Kipper for stoning the Stars. Bow

Goalie battle. Can win if you dont score. Point being goalies both did their job.

It is a really nice facility. Saw my first Stars game a few months ago there and we are going down there this Sunday to watch another.

It was a really good game today. Glad to see crappy officiating isn't just a problem in the Jr. ranks. This ref didn't deserve to do a midget game. Phantom calls and missed calls, both ways. Calgary played hard today, and as much as it pains me, Turco had a helluva game. He blocked several point blank shots and he should have been the number 1 star of the game. Just wish those Stars fans would not disrespect the National Anthem like they do. The girl who sang it today did a great job.

Personally I don't think it is disrespecting the National Anthem when they yell "Stars" each time it is sung during the song. I think when you butcher the NA by not remembering the words or singing it very poorly like Rosanne did....now THAT's disrespecting it. At least the Stars fans aren't changing or adding anything to the National Anthem. I think it is an awesome feeling when you have the whole crowd yell "Stars!"....get's me all tingly. Smile

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion and this was mine.

They are singing it, but they are emphasizing the word STARS.

With all due respect-- Bullshit. The National Anthem represents something a hell of a lot larger than a game, a team, or the collective egos of a bunch of fans. While I have my own issues with those that "customize" their rendition, I feel that it is FAR more disrespectful to yell "Stars" or anything else during the song. If you don't like the singer, fine. Respect the song, not the singer. My My 2 Cents

Think the Stars might have a hard time in the post season without having the shootout. That's been their ace in the hole this season and not sure how they'll handle being forced to win a game in overtime. They're still a great team without the shootout but just will be different for them.

Thank GOD the Stars don't have to face the Kings any more this season. They have just been a real POX on Dallas! I'll be watching to see 1)if the Kings make the playoffs and, 2) should they make the post-season, where they wind up. Hope it ain't #7...

Stars clinched their 7th Pacific Division title in 9 seasons last nite, beating Anaheim 5-3. Also of note, Dallas notched their 50th win and Marty Turco picked up his 40th win of the season! Last time the Stars had 50+ wins was 1999...the year they won the Cup.

This is not to say, however, that 50 guarantees a Stanley Cup victory as Detroit just seems to be unstoppable. Eastern Conference teams such as Ottawa, Carolina and yes, even the NY Rangers have to be considered contenders too.

Should be a great playoff coming up!

GO STARS!! Bring the Cup home to Big D in 2006!

Any word on Modano's injury? Looked pretty painful last night. While I dislike the Stars, I have the utmost respect for Mikey Mo and hope he is able to continue playing.
