Ice Dogs win streak still intact

Some nerds from Helena, and fans of the last place Helena Bighorns weere giving me and my girlfriend a bunch of shit about the Ice Dogs loss last nite to USA National team. What those morons failed to realize is that last nites and tonights games were exhibition games so therefore our 20 game win streak is still intact.

The folks in Bozeman entered the first game (and perhaps the second, I didn't notice) into Pointstreak, so there was probably some confusion. Of course, the game wasn't numbered and didn't make any sense (i.e., why are the Nats making a quick trip to Bozeman and not playing anyone else int he region), but for a time it had the appearance of being a regular season game in their system.

It has since been cleared out.

I also saw it on Pointstreak on Friday, and than it was gone on Saturday. Glad someone else saw it as I was wondering if I was seeing things. Why an exhibition game this far into the season? One of those games to make up games for the season ticketholders to get all the games on plan? I don't think an exhibition game this late is a good idea for either team.

Bozeman was otherwise idle this weekend, so it didn't kill them to play a pair of home friendlies. The Nats play an intense schedule as a part of their development, so it's not uncommon for them to do this sort of thing.

Yes Bozeman lost both games 4-3 and 2-1. Now remember these were Exhibition games. Our 20 game win streak is still intact.

Your 20 game win streak is no longer intact. Fairbanks beat Bozeman in a shoot out. Congrats to the Icedogs on such a long winning streak. Don't think it will be equaled anytime soon.
