Islander crap

1. We retain Milbury all those years.
2. We get rid of Roberto Luongo and down grade to DePietro.
3. We get rid of Laviolette and he wins a Stanley Cup with Carolina.
4. We have an owner who does not believe in running the team like a business with a hierarchy pyramid, instead he wants everything done by comittee. OK fine but why the hell didn't you tell your new GM about this 40 days ago when you hired him and now he leaves?
5. Pat Lafontaine resigns -- don't know why but I am sure he had a good reason.
IN CONCLUSION: Frustrating!!!

I was hoping Garth Snow wouldn't retire but would be GM and player so he could trade himself away from this circus, then resign.

Don't forget the ownership that nearly ran the team into the ground at around the same time that the Gorton's Fisherman jerseys were brought into play.

I was reading Sports Illustrated last week and they referred to the formerly storied franchise as 'Gilligans Island'. They also said, "Party on Wang, Party on Garth". Referring to The early 90's movie Wayne's World, which my grandson made me watch a few years back and I found to be somewhat strange but what the hell, Wayne's girlfriend in the movie was gorgeous, can't remember the actresses name however.

Tia Carriere was the actress who played Wayne's girlfriend in Wayne's World.
