Let the Meltdown in Memphis continue. That coach is barking up the wrong tree as far as I'm concerned. Oh well if this keeps up ill outnumber the Kings fans when I go there in February, even if Im the only Thunderfan to show up.

That's funny, I've only heard his name mentioned once on the radio show and that was when someone called the coach and asked about his ice time and Mac told it like it is. Kenny brought nothing to the table but his fists, no skills other than that. Kenny's name has not been in any print media or TV. Are you getting better Kings coverage in Wichita than I do here in Memphis, I doubt it???? Kenny made a decision that no one expected, even Mac.

You are very mis-informed. Of all the changes that's been made, I've only disagreed with one (Breitkreuz, he flat out sucks!)

BTW, you won't out number the Kings fans, even if you are the only Thunder fan that shows. Mr. Green

JL....his name was announced as the co-host of that show on 98.1 I believe. The rest I'll agree with. Kenny brought heart, soul, grit, some fight wins but NO numbers. I just think this came down to Kenny realizing he was getting tired of being beat up every game night.

Here is a link to download Parker/Goetz 1 from last season. I was at the game and Goetz really earned my respect. This is a pretty long fight and both fighters are throwin' em till the end! No pu$$y ass take downs, both fighters go until they are out of steam and the refs break them up while they are still trying to thorw em. Derek Parker fans will like this one as well!

Great fight! Thanks for posting that. Parker and Joly had a couple of marathon fights last year, as well.

The coach did rip him through the media. On the pre-game show the game prior to his "retirement," Mac said horrible things about him. Horrible. And, Jim's second email press release (of the three team press releases mentioning it) said the team waived him first, so Kenny decided to retire after he was waived. And then on the pre-game show after the "retirement," Mac explained that he was letting Kenny go so Kenny decided to "retire." (And despite all the horrible things he said the other night, said they were friends. LOL. LOL. LOL.)

Good luck to Kenny. Great guy. One of the finest human beings to ever put on a RK uni.

As jonlarz said, Goetz brought nothing to the team as far as skill. Not don't ask for a tougher guy with all the heart in the world, but when your struggling changes have to be made.

Goetz would go with anyone, but wouldn't call him an enforcer. He never hit anyone couldn't skate and with guys 4 to 5 inches taller than him would basically make it a hug fest.

Good luck to Kenny, because he gave his all and is great in the community

I couldn't agree more, Lux. Kenny is a great guy. Best of luck to him and his family.
