The guy lives on a ranch in Okieland, with a nice country girl for a wife...how fake is that. Does he ride a horse? yep. Doe he run around and do stupid okie cowboy stuff? Yep. Is he an Okie? Hell if I know. But his music has a way of reaching the masses, because of the story lines, folks can relate to him. It is not about his talent, but more about the songs.

I do not own a single Garth CD...but I know almost every hit song the guy made told a story of the country lifestlye. What is fake about that?

Ummm nope... he moved off the ranch, lives in Nashville, divorced his wife in 2001, and married Trisha Yearwood two years ago. The only thing that makes him a cowboy was that he went to college in Stillwater, where he got a degree in advertising...
