They take credit for the alumni of the Express. None of which were the products of the current coach or ownership. I didn't know you could purchase credibility along with a playground for your kid.

The part I got a kick out of was how they took Express player pictures on top of the page and changed the colors and logos on them, much like hockey cards from the mid 1970's.

I think it's about time they relinquish the smnexpress.com name.

They have done a very good job of making it look like they have been around for years.

It would be sooo nice to get a machinehockey blog going.

I don't think a blog is a good idea. After all, 95% of what is on a blog isn't true. The most respected coach in junior hockey said so.

If there is a NAHL scheduling God, there will be a Machine vs. Express matchup in the NAHL Blaine Showcase.

Which "most-respected" coach are you referring to? I sure hope he wasn't thinking of me when he said that.

95% of all statistics are made up.

The one and only Matt Romaniski of the Motor City Machine. He coached the So. Minny Express last season.

I agree that it will be good if things get going here. Haven't heard much lately about if it is going to go or not. Hope so. TRJB had it right, I hope the new Express play the machine next season

I would like nothing more than to see the new Express take on the Machine at the Showcase in September. I am going to make one comment about the Machine's website. The web site is designed way better than they did the Express website last season. Can definitely tell how happy they are to have moved the team. However, I am disappointed in the site in the following things:

They are using smnexpress.com for the Machine site, bad move on their part. Give up the smnexpress.com website and let the better Express team use it!

Also, as mentioned on here before......they take credit for all the college successes of years past. Gee, aren't they the Machine now?? Figures.....they tried to take the banners down on their way out of the Four Seasons and now they are trying to market something such as college success and they didn't have any part of it! It is misleading in another way because it shows Kirby going to Air Force when supposedly he isn't going there! Gotta cover up the fact that there wasn't any commitments this year. Good way to false advertise!

Finally, people are willing to deal with the fact that the team last year left Owatonna. We are getting what we want out of this and that is, our own team with the best possible people in place! This September, there will be a new era in Express hockey, a team that is ran right in the first place.
