NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!

Great game today. MV played well. But the Bandits were on their game. St. Louis natives lead the way for the Bandits. Heeter makes several big saves in the second period to keep in 3-2. O'Kane get the insurance goal on a spectacular play. O'Kane also scored the first goal of the game. Tom Brooks scored the Bandits second goal. Great day for St. Louis hockey. O'Kane, the MVP! Good behavior by the MV team and their classy fans. Well deserving to be there. Have a safe trip home.

Everyone handed the Bandits the trophy as soon as it was announced they would be hosting. The season was just a formality.

Great games this week!! I think all 4 teams have a lot to be proud of and most of these young men have glorious memories to look back upon. Good luck to each of them and I know we will be seeing great things from them in the future and not just on a sheet of ice.

I am so lucky to have the opportunity to watch all of the Bandits home games this year along with the Robertson Cup!! When I come back down to earth tomorrow I am sure I will have more thoughts on the Robertson Cup games and the season...

Congratulations to the Bandits. They played a great series and deserve the championship.

The Bandits were the best team in the league all season and they proved that in the playoffs they were still the best team.

Way to go!

Congrats to all four teams who made the Robertson Cup, there were plenty of enthusiatic hockey fans from each team who made the trip to Chesterfield.

Congratulationst to the Bandits!! Great job with practically a brand new team and a lot of St. Louis kids. Has there ever been a NAHL Champ with more home grown players on the team? Any of those Compuware teams have a ton of Detroit players on them? 8 players who grew up playing youth hockey in St. Louis (Bozoian, Gorczyca, Heeter, Love, Makowski, McCadden, O'Kane and Ramage) and another who moved to St. Louis a few years ago (Warda). There was some great hockey played by all four teams. Kudos to all of the players for the show they put on!!

Three days later and I'm still trying to take it all in Great to have a championship in hockey around here. Every news channel in the St Louis area had a clip about the teams win on their broadcasts Sunday night. Hopefully that will give the team more exposure and get some more butts in the stands during the regular season

CCIN did a great job covering the game and keeping the cameras rolling during the post-game celebration. It was FANSTASTIC being there in person but having this game on tape and watching it whenever I want, is even better
