depends on mos, how long a person has been in the service, whether reenlistment is while deployed (tax free) and other factors. i think the limit is $90k.

keep trying, you may yet confuse some one. speaking of which, here's my own comparison: taxes are like church tything, you give according to how much you have to give based on the assumption that your bounty has come from your god (or, in the case of taxes, your country). i'm guessing you think that one is irrelevant, right.

$90k would be very rare. about the highest bonus i know of is 6.5 X monthly salary X # of years reenlisted. only rare or highly desireable job fields would get that kind of multiplier. most are in the 1-2 range.

I never hears of a bonus that high under W or under any of the last presidents dating way back
