Sens aren't doing very well. Emery's not really on top of things, and they aren't shooting much. The defense is doing pretty well. That one play where Giguère was out of position and Spezza basically had an empty net. He could've hammered it and scored, but he "lolli-gagged" it. The Sens just need to wake up a little bit. No No

Sens look like they are just skating this one out, not intensity. If the next 60 minutes are like this then the Ducks will cruise to victory. One of the announcers said it best, "There is no desperation in the Senators." That pretty much describes the 1st stanza. The Ducks want it more right now.

Sens need to dig deep for 40 minutes and win the battles. This is it for them, throw caution to the wind I say. If you are going to lose, at least go down fighting!!!!

I know. I thot about that after I typed it but before hitting Submit. Still, Anaheim is not a traditional hockey city. I guess that's what I should have said instead. They always get their panties in a wad whenever any of the expansion/relocated teams succeed.

Dunno what to say... Overall, that was a good 2nd period for Ottawa. A couple of lucky goals and they have a 2 goal lead.

The Emery own goal, can't really blame him. It is a fluke goal. The last goal hit Volchenkov and then the pipe and goes in... a cm either way and that puck is wide.

Two good, hard-working goals by Alfredsson; everyone's favorite villain at the moment.

This game should be 2-2.

Sens got 20 minutes left in their season, time to shit or get off the pot!
