Wow. Nastiest game I've seen in awile.

Before the drop of the first puck, Johnston and Parsons were waiting in the faceoff circle just drilling each other with crosschecks. You could tell it was going to be ugly. Hell, Lukajic fought! (Not a good idea for Lukajic to be fighting much) I actualy thought about not going tonight. Memphis proved to me tonight that they don't need a replacement tough guy. They kind of mirrored the Blazers with team toughness.

Anyway, fun game.

Good to see at least the Riverkings showed some spunk. Beamer or anyone could you give a rundown on the scraps and let me know if the Riverkings appeared to be giving an all out effort.

Yes, absolutely they were. Both teams played their asses off for the full 60 minutes. Both teams were skating hard and paying the price for the good pass/shot. The effort was there for the Riverkings.

Dearle vs. Mcbrian: Fight of the year so far. These guys beat the shit out of each other for about a minute. Both guys landed shots with both hands and both guys landed alot. The Ford Center went crazy for this one. Good stuff.

Goulet vs. Wenzel: Wenzel pretty much hugged Goulet for the majority of the fight (Smart move with Goulet having the distinct reach advantage). Goulet got off 10-15 short shots to the back and side of Wenzels head. At the very end of the fight, Wenzel got Goulets jersey up over his face and landed a couple of quick short shots.

Johnston vs. Stoddard: Great scrap. They pretty much traded punches in a 20 second fight.

Lukajic vs Wenzel: Wenzel wouldn't let Lukajic out of this one. Goulet was skating nearby and looked to the bench to get the nod from Sauter to either step in or not. Sauter shook his head no. Lukajic landed the first two shots of the fight and then hung on for dear life while Wenzel landed several to end it.

Where did I say that Stoddard lost? You're a fucking idiot. You won't find a more unbias game/fight report from a home team guy than from me. I guess I could have sounded like a homer and said that Goulet beat the piss out of his guy and that Dearle beat his guy so badly that his hands will never be the same...Instead, I just described the fights.

If you say that my description of the Stoddard/Johnston fight is off then you are a liar. Those guys beat on each other pretty good. How much of the fight did you watch? None if you disagree with the way I described it.

Stoddard gave him quite a few more. What, you don't want to admit
that Johnston lost? Hell, I'm a freaking Blazer fan and can
admit that he did. Also, I wouldn't say that Dearle beat up McBrien.
It was far from that. That would have been the most even of them

If you're re-read my post, you'll see that I didn't say anything about a winner or a loser in any of the recaps. If you need me to, I'll type them much slower for you so that they'll be easier for you to understand.
