Stars choked a 2-0 lead in the third to lose to the Wings. That should give the Stars confidence going into the playoffs. Better hope Nashville can take out the Wings cause the Stars can't seem to beat them very often.

go Flyers. Although I don't expect much from my team this year due to how bad they have been playing I still have to stand behind my team.

Yea...sure...Theodore won't carry the Avs far enough to get routed by the Red Wings again...

Detroit might worry about Edmonton before they think about the Avs. Edmonton gave Detroit all they could handle tonight and the game could have gone either way. Don't know if the Avs can get by the Stars anyway.

The way the Stars played today against the Avs, Colorado will be well rested for the 2nd round. Dallas played about 13 minutes out of 60 and it showed.

After seeing a few of the first round games, I don't think there is any clear cut favorite to win. Wings lost, Stars lost, Sens not too hot against Lightning, Flames had to go to OT with a less talented team. Guess thats why it is called the second season. Any one can win. Lets go Sens and Flames!!!

Canes lost, Sens lost, and now the Flames have lost. This could get interesting before it is over. Guess home ice advantage doesn't mean anything.

5-4 Avs in OT. The mighty "Turkey" is now 1-5 in overtime playoff games. Without the shoot out, the Stars are just an average team. While the series isn't over and the Stars have the talent to come back and win it, it will be an uphill battle.

I believe this now makes 3-0 for the Avs over the Mighty Stars. I told several of my friends before the playoffs started that it didn't look good for Dallas since they don't use the shoot out. Take the Stars record and subtract the shoot out wins, and it wouldn't be nearly as good. I think Turco's playoff record is now 7-13. I remember you Stars fans thought the big contract was justified. How about now?
