Santa Fe @ Texas

So... for some reason the NAHL decided to have us play Santa Fe 89320430.1q times in a row. Okay, six, but anyway... This ought to be interesting *cough*.

I hope they take the Roadrunners seriously and try and extract as many points out of this series as they can. This is actually a huge chunk of the remaining regular season.

I will probably be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in my season seats. This is my last weekend before I return to the world of college and books and stress.

Go Tornado!

Where exactly in Texas are the "Texas" games. Just trying to figure out if a roadie from S.F. is doable (i.e. Amarillo, El Paso,) or not (i.e. Dallas/FW, Austin, San Anotnio). Any info. would be appreciated! Smile

Sorry, GoAvs. "Texas" plays their games in Frisco, a 'burb of Dallas.

A road trip to Frisco is doable. I took one from here to Santa Fe last year, and I'm doing it again this year. Google last minute travel.

I think it's doable, but I would stay the night before you drive back after whichever game you attend. The StarsCenter is fairly easy to get to and there is lots of lodging in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I hope you can make it!

Thanks for all the info., guys. Wow, that is a ways out there. Problem is both of our states are just so damn big in we are both smack dab in the middle of them! Still not too bad of a drive, but at that distance, this series might be a little too soon to figure something out. Thanks again for your help, and if you guys ever come up to S.F. for a game again, let me know a little ahead of time and we'll have a chance to meet at the game.

Check Southwest Airlines, our Daughter got a flight from Vegas to Kansas City for $50.00 each way. Might be cheaper to fly.

This weekend?

Next weekend.

Look at site59.com. Air, hotel and a car from SF to DFW for this weekend: $281 per person.
Tickets to the game, hot dog and an RC: $30.
Watching the Tornado make road kill out of the Roadrunners: Priceless.
