AND!!!
Big Brown won the Derby. Eight Bells takes the Place (but never leaves the track again, broke both front legs. They put the Filly down right on the track).

Didn't get a chance to watch or listen to the game today, but congrats to the Phantoms. Hopefully tomorrow is a great game between MV and St. Louis.

To the obnoxious, ignorant fans from Topeker, please stay home on the farm next year when you play St. Louis. You definitely wore out your welcome. The MV and Alex. fans were great. The Topeker fans were rude, ignorant and plain ole fashion idiotic. Congratulations to MV and their fans. Should be an excellent Championship Game tomorrow. I go with my original prediction, my Bandits in 3 OTs!

Tap of the stick to the Phantoms and best of luck against the Bandits, who are a good team despite having pompous windbags like St. Lou for fans.

I think ST LOUIS fans have a right to be pompous. They are the dedending champions. If you don't like it, beat 'em.

Have met some real great hockey fans here at the Summit from all the competing teams...even from St. Louis...

BUT, there are bad apples in every bunch...and St. Louis has more than their share...

Thanks to all the rest who showed respect and bid well wishes to our players...

You have got to be kidding right? You realize we are talking about the FANS here, not the PLAYERS? The players may have the right to be pompous, as they are the defending champs (although by all accounts, the players are a great bunch of kids). Hell, even the coaches and the front office may have the right to be pompous - but again, experience has shown them to be a great group of people. The fans haven't earned anything.

You want the Topeka fans to beat the St. Louis fans?

Kev, you are 100% correct about the Bandits...

They sat next to us last night at the Pros-Prospects game last night...

Class act...great bunch of guys...

Talked and interacted with ALL fans and no attitude at all...

They had it all in perspective...haven't won it all yet, but seemed very confident...

Good luck to all the players today...should be a good game...

I realize it completely. The fans have the right to gloat and be pompous because their favorite team won. There, is that worded more appropiately for you? Can you get the point now? Where did I say the fans "EARNED" anything? Taking lessons from JC and putting words in?

I dont want the roadrunnerseses fans to do anything, they beat themselves usually.

You know, I just simply don't care enough to argue over stupid ass shit like this anymore. You said what you said, I called you on it. If you meant to say something different, fine. St. Lou is an arrogant prick. Everyone knows that, including himself I would imagine. If you think he has a "right" to be an arrogant prick because the group of 17-20 year old hockey players he roots for won the national title, so be it. Maybe he does. I'm pretty much done caring at this point.

If you note, I didn't name names with Friday nights dive show. Embarrassing as it was, no reason to put a kid's name to it. Most on here take open shots at these kids, and yet some farmer from Topeker calls me a prick??? Well, I will point out the Topeker fans who were a disgrace. They cried and complained and bitched and moaned the entire week. Yesterday one even was arrested for hitting a MV woman in the head PURPOSELY with big toy horn. The vulgarity and ignorant comments coming from the Topeker section was classless and completely uncalled for. The security had issues every game with Topeker fans. Some were not allowed to enter the building because of their drunken state, others were removed during games. Some even harrassed the band in the beer tent. Like I said, next year stay home when you play St. Louis, you have worn out your welcome. And I don't think any of the Topeker inbred fans "earned" the right to be complete drunken fools at Nationals.

Good luck to MV today, and of course good luck to my Bandits. Thank god no one has to endure the idiots from Topeker anymore! Moon No No Stupid

Yeah, I noticed you did not name any of the kids. I thought that was a good move. Are you expecting brownie points for simply doing the right thing? I have never called a player out on here, and I think those that do are wrong when they do it. Congradulations - you did it right. Your mom must be proud.

I wasn't in St. Louis, so I can't comment on anything that went on there. If they were out of hand, so be it. I'm sure there is another side to the story, but I don't know it and I'm not going to pretend like I do. No, no one has earned the right to act like a drunken idiot, if that is what happened. Similarly, fans don't earn the right to be arrogant pricks because their team wins nationals, like JT claimed originally.

No, I'm not a farmer. Not that I would have any problem being one. I don't consider earning a living as a farmer as a bad thing or material for an insult - and the fact that you do really says even more about your character.

Yes, I called you a prick. What else do you expect? You spent most of this year showing everyone on here just how big of a prick you can be, and then you are suddenly insluted when someone calls a spade a spade? Here's a tip, if you don't like being called a prick, maybe spend some time trying not to act like a prick. Oh, I suppose you think you earned that since you did not call out any of the players by name.

AGAIN, jc, where did I say the fans "earned the right to be arrogant pricks"?

BTW...where is the line drawn, is standing up and cheering when your team scores allowed?

now back to my popcorn...how did I get dragged back into this?

Sorry, you said they had the right, not earned it. Apparently it is a God given right, instead of one that is earned, my mistake.

Ok, I'm sorry. St. Lou is a classy individual and represents his favorite team and city in a great manner. Obviously I was just oversensitve. Topeka is full of nothing but drunk, farmer hicks and the team is nothing but a complete flop and dive show with no talent.

Ok, we all agree now. Enjoy the boards. If anything needs moderated, let me know. Otherwise, carry on.

Just so you know, the person you are spewing about here is a minor (16 Yrs Old) He was asked to leave the game, but not arrested. On the way out Topeka Fans got by his side to make sure he was not coming back in. In no way did ANY of our fans think this was appropriate. The young man was immediatley removed from the rink and taken back to the hotel. His parent was notified and took corrective action. Now if you were there for this incident (Which I witnessed the whole time) you would also note that the MV Fans that came outside an taunted him, and our fans during this were also way out of line.

Really, issues at every game. Seems to me it was the last 2 games. And it was both sided. I will admit that a few of our fans were out of line, and had partaken in a few to many Adult Beverages. But to label all our fans because of these few? Come on? That would be like labeling all the St. Louis - Texarkana Bandits fans Arrogant Pricks just beacuse St Lou is one, doesn't mean they all are. Just like all the Texas Fans are not in the same category as JTornado.

And what about the way Mr. Kelly Chase (St Louis - Tekarkana Owner)acted on Thursday. He would have been better to just stayed in the beer garden with the embarrasing drunk commissioner of the NAHL.
