December 21, 2005 - With a thoroughly convincing 9-3 home ice win Wednesday night over Tulsa, Colorado Head Coach Chris Stewart has secured the honor of coaching the Northern Conference All-Star team for the second straight year. The Eagles are now guaranteed to have the highest winning percentage after completion of all games this Friday, December the 23rd, and Stewart will lead the Northern All-Stars on January 18th in Hidalgo, TX.

Stewart was behind the bench at the 2005 CHL All-Star Game in Laredo, seeing the Northern Conference stop the Southern Conference 14-13 in a shootout. The clinching game was a no doubter, with Colorado leading 5-0 after the first period and 9-0 midway through the second before the Oilers responded with three goals and managed to prevent the Eagles from reaching double digits. Garrett Larson, Ryan Tobler, Fraser Filipic and Sean Robertson each had three points, while Greg Pankewicz had his 16th goal and added three assists.

Man don't you like to gloat. We will see how they will do after January.

sure french wasn't gunning to be the coach in the all star game. he's got more worries on his mind to be bothered with than worry about a game that means little to nothing in the standings.

Congrats to colo for sending their coach another year.
