Sort Of weird

In the East the 1 (Ottawa) 2 (Carolina) 3 (New Jersey) and 4 (Buffalo) seeds all advanced past the First round and in the west the 5 (San Jose) 6 (Anaheim) 7 (Colorado) and 8 (Edmonton) all advanced.

Do any of those look any good for TV ratings...maybe NJ/Col? I don't see any remaining teams attracting the "casual" fan.

They'll find some way to get Carolina and a California team into the finals. Bettman and his cronies are desperate to sell the game to the Carolinas.

What they don't understand is that some people won't watch the game. Attendance didn't change much in Carolina after their 2002 Finals appearance. A sign of mental illness is repeating an action and expecting a different result. This is the NHL front offices in SO many markets.
