there is quite a bit of history in this game 5. Southern Minny has never lost a playoff series, while Alex is looking for it's first ever playoff series win in it's five year existance. Will the home ice disadvantage play out one more time or will the Express win yet another series?

For the record, there are only a few bad apples in our O-Town bucket.

That being said, the chief organizers for a new team here havent put out one cent in the entire 3 years the team has been here. They are believers and partakers in the "free ticket" and "sweat equity for investment" system.

We even have a local printer here in town, who with some other bad apples, took it upon themselves, to print out and give away phony free game ticket vouchers until management caught on to their scam and had to remove the voucher system. That system dosent work here (or anywhere). It costs money to run a team and like any business that means paying customers. Our town and surrounding burbs has alot of loyal fans but many of them dont like the concept of paying for their tickets when they are used to getting in for free.

We shall soon see how a new team here developes ( and I hope it does just not the way it is being set up) and will pan out when real money is needed from us locals to invest in the new team with the knowledge the chief organizer dosent put in a penny. Feels like a cult.

I truly hope you can get your shit together up there. I don't see that happening though with all of the back stabbing and in-fighting going on here on this forum. It's sad to see.

Very interesting that your wife was on the phone all weekend with my wife. My wife is out of state taking care of her father while her brother was at the Frozen Four. Besides us touching base several times this weekend, she talked to one of her friends last night and that was it. Again, anonymous posters can make up all kinds of things. I am smnexpressfan and I was on the blog from before it was dissolved. I am not The Real Expressor nor do I claim to be. I am just on here, discussing hockey with other Express fans. I will say this though and that is my wife and I are affiliated with the Express this season. People who know who I am on here know how we were affiliated with the team. We are BIG supporters of Junior A hockey in Owatonna and would more than love to see it keep going!

The seasons over!

Went to the game last night and observed what I had seen all season. A bunch of talented hockey players trying to figure it out for themselves.

Too bad. The boys got hurt the most from this year. All but one didn't get what they came here for. This whole year ended up being about getting all the "good toys" for two boys and the others got left out in the cold.

I have to give a ton of credit to the boys for hangin in there all season. They had to the tow the line all year and keep their mouths shut, or else their futures could be hurt.

Good luck to the all the boys in their futures. You all have a bright future in front of you whether it includes hockey or not. Keep working hard.
