I know that the idiot jackbag doesn't care, but for the rational people out there, I am not Swenson. I support what the local group is trying to do. Hopefully, things can turn around in the next few seasons.

I couldn't agree more with jrwannabe. The players were the real losers under this regime. We went from a coaching staff that developed a number of division 1 players to a staff and ownership group that didn't have a clue. We went from a coaching staff that rarely took a day off to a staff that didn't hold practices on many days and, when they did, they typically did not practice for their whole alloted ice time. It was a real joke. The sooner they get out of Owatonna the better.

I am hearing they cleaned out the locker room of its contents. Does anyone know if they removed the lockers? If they did, that is a really crappy thing to do. It wouldn't surprise me given all that we've seen.

As for those of you who are bashing Dave and Bill, you don't have a clue. They are attempting to do something good for the community and all you can do is make up crap about them. I'm hoping it all works out and we have a team next year. Speaking of that, what is the status of their attempt? Dave, maybe you can give us an update.

This team would have done just what they did with a blowup doll for a coach! You could tell it every night. I heard from a vet that it was just pond hockey compared to last year.

That's why I think the boys got hurt the worst in this. All so that A and B could have a place to play.

The the viewing public: We are not all nasty here in so minny, we have our share of critics but the majority of us are harding working, church going, family value types. We love our hockey and want a local team to support. As you can tell, Bill and Dave, who are trying to get us good folk to invest in a new team under their leadership here need to grow up and quit acting like idiots. Who would want to invest with these 2 at the helm? Think about it Dave and Bill. You guys have lost our respect.

OK, since people are saying who they are on here, I'm just going to say who I am NOT. I'm not Dave and not Bill. I'm not a billet parent, volunteer, or owner. The few who I care about on here already know who the hell I am.

Now that that's done....how are Bill and Dave acting like idiots? I don't think Bill has been on here at all and Dave has been having to, sadly enough, defend his family and reputation. Hitting below the belt if you ask me. I guess that's what "harding working", church going, family value types do, eh?

Here's the deal, the community ownership may be the only way Owatonna is going to see Junior A hockey next year. Don't shit where you eat. You need Bill and Dave, don't blow it by demoralizing them to the point where they are wondering why they are working towards the goal of having a team.

As excited as I once was about next season and Junior A hockey in Owatonna, I'm starting to wonder if I will even go if I have to share the same arena with those trying to create havoc with Bill and Dave's lives. I got plenty of hockey around me as it is, I don't need to go to Owatonna.

As far as the person posting as "JACKBAG", let me educate you in front of everybody. A jackbag is a combination of Jackass and Douchebag. You're living up to it, moreso than I ever could.

Keeping the Big Picture in mind, it may prove more constructive to have the new team organizers focus their attention on gaining the support from the community in a positive and professional manner rather than focusing on the past and having to defend themselves on the blogs. Lets focus on the future and not keep living in the past.

I hope discords can get straightened out and mutual respect restored so things work out for our community. But after listening to Bill yesterday, I am not yet convinced. Time will tell.

This season is in the past now, it is time to focus on the future and that is the new team comprised of community members and fans alike. Good luck to BAM in their future in Michigan.

Let's focus on finishing up the deal with the new team and getting it going! There was a somber mood after the game was over and I really hope we have a team here in Southern Minny next season. I am confident we will have a team!

Hey guys...

Like I have said before, we have been to several Express games and really enjoyed our stay in Owatonna...

I don't have a dog in this fight...

BUT...as a moderator on another hockey board let me just remind you that you guys are not the only ones reading these posts...

Parents, players, prospects, scouts and maybe even possible investors are getting a good idea of the attitude and atmosphere up there...

Maybe it's best if you don't throw all your dirty laundry in the street...I'm Jus' Sayin'...

Wow! What a turn of events in this web forum! Maybe there is hope afterall

As much as I didn't care for how SOME of the BAM ownership group did business, I too wish them luck in Michigan. Among the things Herb Brooks taught us hockey fans, one of them was that the more places available for players to play the better it is for the game.

I hope BAM LLC and the new ownership group in Owatonna has learned from what has gone down this year as far as what needs to be done in order to have a smooth running hockey operation. Marketing and promotion my friends, MARKETING and PROMOTION.

Now if there is a hockey God, there will be a game in the Blaine Showcase next year between Motor City and Southern Minnesota.

I miss the hockey here already. Town feels empty. Wonder how much more startup bucks are needed to get the team off the ground?
