I'm already feeling nostalgic. Listening to the ending of the 3 OT game against Fargo from last year as I type this. It's a must listen for Express fans, Roy's call on Dusty Jackson's GWG is a classic.

It does seem odd that my last hockey game in person won't be an Express game. It'll be the first time in 3 years. My question for anyone lucky enough like me to see them...... What game stands out the most in your memory, Game 4 at Fargo in 2006 featuring a Jason Wiley OT GWG, or the 3 OT Classic from last season?

Two games stand out in my mind...

When the RoadRunners played the Express in Kasson last month...

The "Rowdy Bunch" from Topeka found out there was Happy Hour at Pete's Repeat on Main St. from 5:00 to 7:00...

"2 fer 1" on adult refreshing beverages...

It was cold and snowy, the parking lot was a mud hole, the barn was small and cold...

We met a lot of true hockey fans those two games...

They were in that same mess as we were...

But, hey, it was a road trip and it was HOCKEY...

The games against the outlaws were a kick. Watching their fans during the games was a show by itself.

They were probably the same fans that were wearing the "We're on the Road to St. Louis" tee shirts.........as Springy spanked them in three straight. They were a wild bunch.

Did anyone notice Brandon Brodhag made the NAHL All Rookie Team? I'm guessing he'll play USHL next season.
