Stars to sign Lindros?

I don't what to think about this move. You have to consider that the STARS can get a good-sized scorer that can pot 30+ goals in a season. Then there's the caveat -- IF he stays healthy and can avoid ANOTHER concussion, then Lindros can produce.

Thoughts, anyone?

Zany, you out there, young lady? Haven't seen you OR Netty on the board for a while. I look to your insight as you usually have your finger on the pulse of the Stars from your location.

--------------------------------------
Update -- Dallas has signed Lindros to a one-year deal today (7/17.) No financial terms were disclosed

Strange move. Lindros is a good player. But history shows big hits put him out.

Another strange move Sydor. Yes he is a OLD Star but he tends to turn the puck over alot in the defensive and neutral zone.

I think it is going to hurt that Arnott is gone now. And dispite Billy Guerin's off year he is still a threat.

I dont know anything about the Halpern player they got. They signed Matthew BarnaBABY though. woohoo

I am intrested in how Junior Lessard turns out. Up and coming star.

I dont know if this is what the stars need. They have got rid of some key guys from their team last year, adn I think they are hoping that Eric is oging to lead this team, but I just dont know if he is capable of it.
He is big and tough and who knows it might be good for him to be relied on like that again.

Until the Stars get some players who can perform in the playoffs, not just the regular season, they will only be a second tier team.

I think this is the biggest mistake they have done in a long time, it makes no sense at all!!!

I would expect you to be jumping for joy!

Kelly needs a boyfriend - he's SINGLE!

Physically, he's a big boy - if he can stay healthy, he fill the void left by Arnott's departure.

P.S. I saw you got married last month. Congratulations!

Netty! Good to see you posting again! Hope you and the ZSL are enjoying yourselves after tying the knot...congrats again to the both of you.

I some REAL misgivings about this Lindros signing. Sure, Billy Guerin had an off-season...but to replace him AND Jason Arnott on one line? Lindros had better produce...but I will hold off any further opinions until after the NHL All-Star break.

I think maybe you're confused.

Mike Modano and Kelly are getting married this winter. (According to her MySpace)

Well put out the word to the single "ladies" to make sure they have their headboards padded.

I don't want him to get another concussion.........

I found the directions how to do it on MySpace. Check your wife's friend's profiles - they give detailed instructions.

I can't do anything about Lindros (or any other single guy) for 17 months, though. Here's why: http://www.feminist.com/askamy/violence/v93.html

They should have gotten a more reliable player for the money they spent. Lindros won't make it through the season. To many physical D-men in that division and a lot more fighting. It's just a more physical division.
