Steelheads to host all star game

2:30 p.m. — Steelheads will host ECHL All-Star Game in January


The Idaho Steelheads will host the 2007 ECHL All-Star Game in Qwest Arena, it was announced this afternoon in Downtown Boise. Events will take place Jan. 16-17. The hockey franchise opens its fourth season in the ECHL in October. The Steelheads hosted the WCHL All-Star Game in 1999, a game that attracted an announced crowd of 5,079.
