Talking about the OLD Days @ the BARN

Remember them well, Made no Differnce what the score was or if WE won are lost I do REMEMBER Da "FAITHFUL" what a time we had, Cool ones for all. Puck all painted up,hanging on the glass, JOBE camped out on the Blue Line,Twin Blade, Slim, Luvthembandits,C-Jack,and I know I left a bunch out BUT HOW SWEET IT WAS!!!!!!!! At one time the HAT TRICK was something we kept up with @ each Game. I know, Cuz If you Got a HAT TRICK you got a WATCH! With the date on it and HAT TRICK engraved on Back of watch. Gave out MANY Watches and some got 2 Watches,Yea I REMEMBER WELL. BodaCityCoonHound

Bottlechunker through the bottle on the ice and was immediately kicked out of the Barn to applause of the crowd!

The infamous brawl with the Houston Blast of the ole GCHL.

Even those were good ole days!

The Bandits in the CHL gave me a few great memories (as a fan of the San Antonio Iguanas).

1) the only Iggy game I ever saw go to 10 goals for the home team
2) the only time I've seen a team (the Bandits) score on their own net by accident
3) during one game, a Bandit got throw out (don't remember who). He was on the side of the ice opposite of the exit. As he skated off slowly towards the exits, grinning, looking up into the crowd, and doing the "raise-the-roof" motion. Halfway down the ice, the boos turned into laughs and even some cheers.

I wish they could have come over in the merger. The Bandits felt more WPHL than CHL to me.
