There will be hockey in the Barn this weekend.
Just got it in an email from TBO. 1st Annual Texarkana Bandits' Adult Hockey Shootout, Saturday and Sunday. The teams: Texarkana Senior Bandits, Little Rock Razorblades, Shreveport Bugs and Dallas Jack Daniels Shooters. Featured players include, Chris Ross, Terry Snyder, Chris Burke, Jon Cooper, Scott Swenson, Mike Johnson and Eric Maksimenko-Texarkana Bandits Alumni; and Greg Foster and Jim Sprott-Shreveport Mudbugs Alumni; and, Darren Turcotte-NHL Alumni.
Weekend passes are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
First game is between Texarkana and Shreveport starting at 11:00 a.m., with the other games following. Sunday's first game is at 9:00 a.m.
Looks like it could be fun.
