This Friday night

Are flattrack races at 81 Speedway. Stoney, you told me to remind you. You can get discount tickets at most of the larger motorcycle shops in town: MAP on West St, Motorsports on K-15, Truett & Osborn, Alef's HD, Jim's Imports, Bikers Edge, etc. (Lil' Stoney will get in free.)

Practice starts at 6:30 and heat races start at 7:30. Pending no major technical problems with the track or rider injuries we are usually done around 10:30 or so and you are free to go into the pits after the raes are over and take a look at the bikes, etc. You will probably want to bring a jacket and/or a blanket as it gets chilly later in the evening.

I usually sit right about the start/finish line about 20 rows up or so. I'll be the crazy chick with all the kids as Roach will be working the pits. If you need any more info just PM me. If anyone else is interested in coming out we'd be glad to have you. We have racers from 4 years old to 69 years young and all different classes, vintage and modern (bikes only), amateur and pro divisions (bikes and quads).

Would love to attend and watch but wouldn't you know I got a softball game this Friday night! Hope he brings home the trophy, the kids behave, and Roach tightens all the nuts properly and doesn't over inflate the tires.

NO problem, there'll be others. He has too many trophies already but another never hurts (plus he races for $$$ in the pro division, even better!), the kids are usually pretty good, and roach has NO MECHANICAL RESPONSIBILITIES, that would be scary! He doesn't run my dads pit, he runs the pits. He sends the next group onto the track for their practice/heat race/race etc. Its fun sometimes when we don't take the kids, it does happen occasionally, cuz then I usually flag on the backstretch. Its fun to be close to the action! Catch ya next time!

yep I know all about being close. used to race out there and assist in the pits. no better place to watch from especially for the sprints.

Alright stinker, I just realized thet you did some creative editing. Very funny. It wouldn't have surprised me if I had typed the wrong thing though. Did you hear a story about our trip back after the tournament or were you just being funny in general??
