No just a guy who isn't ready to jump ship.

You were/maybe/was a French supporter just tells me that your a fair weathered fan by that comment.

Where did he say he was going to jump ship? He just saw problems and expressed his opinions.

You know, other teams have been switching out players trying to figure things out and get it together. They seem to be getting it together.

Changes sometimes need to be made and usually, better early than late.

When it says WERE/MAYBE/WAS those are past tense words telling me that maybe he doesn't supportplayer positioning French as much as he did because we are losing.

Some changes need to be made but no wholesale changes. Fairbarn scord twice last week and is hardly in the penalty box.Partly because he doesn't play as physical as most. They will get it turnd around and I believe they will win tonite and Tues. and right the ship.

If we were to make changes who would we get, most of the players that teams want are gone and picked up already. Work with the players we have, coach them to play the game that we need them to play and everything will work out.Clayton pretty much called the team out in the paper so it really comes down to effort and if they put forth the effort they will win.

BIB, totally agree, the first 2 lines do have a defenseman that attacks and one that stays home which leaves 2 on 1's the other way. Tetrault isn't getting the shots he did a couple of weeks ago which is a sign of bad passing and player positioning.

Not that it matters, but I did my damnest to wake up the crowd and get them into it, and hoping that would spark 'em. But, no can do.

I was amazed at how poorly we played.

Did anyone here the new intro?

Yes, very cool. Too bad it turned out to be the highlight of the night.

i agree completly. With an attacking defenseman like Tetrault, you have to have a "stay at home" defenseman like Fairbarn. each line has one. Lizzotte attacks & McMillian stays home. Hanson does both. the only one i am not impressed with so far is Kuntz. but in his defense, Franch has been making him play forward & not defense which is his normal spot. when Bain & Weibe get back on active we will see how he is as a defenseman

I've seen Kuntz in his defensive position, and he sucked there as well. He's probably the slowest guy on the ice. For someone that played one of the Russians on Miracle, he sure hasn't tranferred that to his "real" playing career. And as far as the stay at home d-men, you've got to be in the right spot to be a stay at home d-man. In the last couple of weeks, they've found a different "home", and haven't been where they're supposed to be. Plus, it doesn't help when your guy is at home, and he's inviting the other team to take a shot on goal, when he passes it right to them. Rolling Eyes And if Frenchy is going to play a d-man forward, maybe it should be Lizotte. That way when he turns it over, there will atleast be someone else back to defend it, other than Laplante (who I think needs to take a break, and let the rook have another chance).

These aren't busts on the team, as a whole, just pointing out areas in need of major improvement (which seems to be about 95% of the D).

The Thunder came into the game playing their asses off last night. However, you gotta stick with it the whole game and not let certain things get you down and ruin it for you. Personally, I thought the officiating sucked majorly last night. However, thats one of the obsticals you face now and again in this sport. I know it can't be blamed on that. But I really gotta agree with GDOGG6. It's nowhere close to time to be giving up on anyone. It's still early in the season with alot of hockey left to be played. I don't know why, but Tulsa just always seems to be ready to play when they get to the barn. But, ha ha, like GDOGG also said, they're playoff spot's looking pretty slim right about now. Looking at Fort Worths stats from last night, they either just totally suck or they were tired, I don't know because we havn't seen them play yet. If they were just tired, they're probably not going to be any better tonight with hardly any rest time at all. Regardless, our boys gotta play tough. I know I'm gonna stay loyal to these guys because they've played, with all things considered, outstanding hockey this year. Its only a matter of time, in my opinion, till we get that 1st Place spot back.-

The thing is, these problems with the D have been there the whole season. And now when the offense is stymed, they are more than blaring deficiencies. You can't play the style of hockey that Wichita has been playing, without someone on defense doing their job. And why wait until the team is losing multiple games to make moves? That's kind of self defeating. Throw a bunch of new guys into the flood, trying to bail the ship out, when you can plug a few holes while they are small.

Then you are an idiot if you think that means he jumped ship. tf has ALWAYS been a Thunder fan, he calls it like he sees it and people don't see his realism, they just nee the negative spots. (I used to do that too, but I learned better.)

Some changes do need to be made. And I think one or two wholesale changes need to be made. Like tf said, and you obviously didn't pay attention... these guys aren't playing like their jobs are on the line. Maybe something needs to be done to show them that this is minor league hockey and it can happen to you.

You use my quote then talk about changes tf wanted to make... I never said Fairbarn should go... hell, I didn't say anyone should actually.

I am sick of the same old "no one is out there" schtick. Then how are these other people finding players? Where are they looking? Why aren't we looking there?

Coach the team we have? Haven't we done that for almost 2 months? We were on fire at first... now we are 3rd in the league, when we were leading fairly dominantly for awhile. Changes need to be made. Clayton called out the team, eh? I guess we will see how effective it worked.

Sounds like it worked. This team needs a few xhanges, very few. They will continue to win and keep Col within striking distance. we aren't playing well. Big deal. When Col. started the season slow they didn't make 2, 3, 4 changes. They stuck with what they had and look where they are at. Every team will go through bad stretches, it's part of a LONG SEASON, not a 5 game stretch.

They didn't play great tonite but they won. Their will always be things to critisize after every game but they won and that is all that matters.French shuffled the line up tonite and it seemed to work. Solid move, probably why he is the coach and not us.
