Hey, I'm all for a team, just not the names.

Now let me get this straight--Kansas City has an owner for an NHL team, just no team. This is a poll for a Topeka team that doesn't exist?

I think I'm beginning to understand why people say there is no hockey culture is this region . . .

I HATE the idea of a Topeka team being called Kansas. I also don't like names that are mis-spelled (ex. Krows). We have a team that fills the void already in Topeka. The Kansas Koyotes indoor football team. What a stellar group they are too.

The name should have Topeka in it.

Ok, all kidding aside...I like EZ's "Topeka Railers" because of the historical significance and the relationship Topeka has w/the US railroads.

I've always liked the Railers for historical purposes. Either that or the potato diggers.

Topeka has too much of a proud railroad history not too be recognized. Plus how much cooler would the Goal horn be with a Railroad themed team.
