Tornado Fans to Santa Fe

Any Tornado fans going to Santa Fe for this weekend's games?

My wife and I will be in Albuquerque the rest of this week so, we will be in SF for at least one game maybe more.

I love it when you can schedule business trips to coincide with your teams roadtrips and let the company pay for your hockey travel.

Have a great time. I think Santa Fe is a great city. Great culture and great food. I love shopping in downtown. I wish I could remember the name of that restaurant that makes that famous mushroom soup.

My grandparents are from New Mexico, so we are in Santa Fe, Albequerque, Taos, and Red River often.

Go Tornado!

And that would be your business BECAUSE? I believe the topic
said "TORNADO FANS". So why in the Hell do you feel the need to just try to start stuff.
Hope the TT have a safe road trip to SF and best of luck on the ice. Hell maybe coach could play Matt ( the goalie) if he was recovered yet?

It's all good.

I don't like that philosophy-- McDonald's is good enough to eat in, but not good enough to work in? I would seriously reconsider your priorities. And obviously someone who has never worked customer service-- you learn respect for your fellow man when you do. I respect the people who assemble my burger at Wendy's because they provide a service I want, and they usually do it promptly.

There's nothing demeaning in putting in a hard days work and contributing to society. I think a lot of kids could learn a lesson by getting a freakin' job at a fast food joint or a grocery store. Tom Thumb taught me the value of money, and I got out of there with two stellar years on my resume, bosses who all gave me great references, and a scholarship. I now work in a Wal-Mart pharmacy, getting the experience I need there to put on my application to pharmacy school.

People need to seriously get over themselves and learn a thing or two from the people that do the jobs that no one else is willing to do. There's no shame in providing for your family.

McDonald's is a great place to work at if you are either 15 years old or mentally retarded or ugly with the personality of a 2 by 4. It is a great place for advancement, in 2 years one can be promoted to head french fry cooker and get to eat all the overcooked or burnt fries that he or she desires!

Do any of you have a clue what kind of career McDonalds can give someone? I know a guy who never went to college, and started working at a McDonalds at age 14 in Alaska. He has been with McDs ever since. He advanced from crew to management. The left Alaska to work here in the states. He went to McD's school near Chicago, then served as a district, then regional manager. He left his corporate position to buy a franchise store. That was five years ago. He now own 14 stores and is worth somewehere north of $25 million dollars. Not bad for a former fryboy and drive thru server.
