The 26-year-old Sanford sprained his knee Monday during a collision with Nikolai Zherdev during a 3-2 win over Columbus. Sanford, in goal for 13 of the Blues' 20 wins this season, was 13-13-5 with a 2.66 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. He was 7-1-1 over his last nine games.
Davis had a 16-10-2 record with a 2.77 goals against average and .899 save percentage for Peoria. For his NHL career, all with the Blues, Divis is 6-7-2 with a 3.03 goals against average.
